Great interview - the Radio Ethan stuff being inserted almost made me run off the road. Ha.

Good listen. Don’t really like the guy (especially his “Jokic is just an analytics darling” takes) but it was insightful. Good interview

Can we please get some more of Radio Ethan’s spiciest takes?

The thing that I appreciate about discussions with these types of personalities is that there's this dichotomy where they can come off as these caricaturish figures on air, but then give some of the most transparent, self-critical, and introspective interviews.

Excellent interview!

Nick Wright is a really interesting talking-head/sports personality. I admire his authenticity. Wright seems to have this unique dichotomy about him, between being incredibly full of himself, yet also being the most down to earth dude! As I listen to him more, like on a format like this one, I am less focused on his outsized ego, and realize he's just doing his job.

For the record, I don't watch Wright's show much - but I always find him to be a very compelling guest on Cowherd's show and podcast! And, I definitely want to listen to Nick Wright's Top 50 NBA players of the past 50 years podcast series!

As for the overall interview - I found it really friggin good! Here are a few more thoughts:

1- I actually wish you guys discussed Cowherd more.

2 - I really enjoyed you guys exploring the whole concept of "If you are good at what you do, you are really good and not everyone can do it."

3- That's amazing that the 2015 Finals MVP was a 3 way tie! I think it was Zach Lowe who said if he knew that at the end of the day, they were going to prevent LeBron from getting the Finals MVP that he would have or he wishes that Steph Curry would have won it then.

4- From the initial part of the convo, when you mentioned how your interview with Chuck Klosterman might have gotten a little less open; I didn't really catch him getting more defensive when you asked him questions about criticisms he got from his latest book on the 90s. From all the pods I heard Klosterman on with Bill Simmons, or even James Altucher, (to a lesser extent); Klosterman seems to have this certain way about him, where he actually wants to bring out the contrarian in everybody.

BTW - A low key excellent book by Klosterman is "I wear the Black Hat" about how we interpret villains, and what makes a bad guy a bad guy.
